Managing Director

Born and raised on a Northern Territory cattle station, Patrick has vast experience throughout the entire chain of Australia’s live export industry. As Manager of the NACC business, Patrick is responsible for sales and procurement, ensuring the business consistently delivers high-quality animals to meet the needs of customers around the world.

Patrick previously served as CEO of the Northern Territory Livestock Exporters Association (NTLEA) and Manager of Livestock Services for MLA Live Export Program in Asia and Australia, and was named the livestock industry’s Young Achiever of the Year in 2003.

Louis LeRoux

Louis Le Roux

Commercial Manager

Louis is an experienced commercial professional with a background in professional services (KPMG) and ASX listed logistics and agriculture corporates, Elders and Asciano. Louis manages the commercial and financial functions for NACC. He is a CA.SA and CFA.

Matt Reed

Matt Reed

Animal Welfare Manager

Recognised globally for his expertise in best-practice animal welfare and technology, Matt comes to NACC with 30 years of animal welfare knowledge and experience, including roles within the CSIRO, NSW DPI, Agspread and MLA in Australia, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Middle East. Matt has been instrumental in NACC’s implementation of track and trace systems, and ensures the business and it’s supply chains exceeds regulatory animal welfare standards.

Operations Manager

As one of Australia’s most experienced operations managers in the industry, Hamish coordinates all logistical and regulatory requirements, for each individual shipment. Since graduating Rural Business Management from Marcus Oldham College, Hamish has distinguished himself within the industry, receiving the Young Live Exporter of the Year Award in 2012.

Shayne Wachtel

Trade and Foreign Exchange Manager

Shayne has more than 30 years experience in banking, specifically in foreign exchange and trade finance, and has spent the last 10 years within Australia’s agriculture sector, specialising in shipping and contract execution.

Nevin Zheng

Nevin Zheng

China representative

Based in Shanghai, Nevin is NACC’s main contact point for sales and regulatory requirements in China. Previously as the Business Development Manager for the Western Australian Trade Office in China, Nevin holds a strong understanding of the global livestock industry and live export procedures. He provides integral support in the coordination of air and sea shipments into China, and was integral in the opening of the feeder slaughter market into China in 2016 and 2017.

With more than 15 years’ experience in various roles within logistics and maritime businesses Thuy provides in-country customer service, logistics management, attendance at shipping discharges, and administration in accordance with Vietnamese business protocol.

Weide Jin

Weide Jin

Finance Manager

With an exposure to a broad range of enterprises in Australia and China, Weide is equipped with a broad view of the business environment – particularly from cultural, financial and operational standpoints – as well as a deep understanding of better business principles. Weide’s experience encompasses accounting, compliance and finance roles with companies and organisations such as Deloitte, Canadian Solar Inc. and Government of South Australia. Weide is a CA ANZ and FCCA. He also holds MBA degree from the University of Adelaide.

With more than 17 years of administration experience within Australia’s agricultural industry, Carla supports the operations of the NACC business within Australia and overseas.
